Using the SLU- A switch, B switch, C switch, D switch and supervisory relay sets I have, design a 10 subscriber telephone exchange which will connect calls through the kit I have as authentically as possible without the Registers and other central equipment I don't have.

• Gather info on the TXE2 so others can understand and appreciate it

  • Including Pictures, Circuitry and explanations of each of the main cards in a TXE2

  • More general info on the TXE2 like how much they cost, where they were installed

  • Personal experiences of designing, building,  installing, working with, decommissioning and preserving  TXE2s

The TXE2 cards i have need the usual -48v supply as well as a +48v supply

I have 2 x Meanwell LRS-350-48 

The 10 Subscribers line Circuits, while off hook are powered by the Subscribers Line Unit Tone Circuit in the TXE2

I don't have any original circuitry

At the moment I have an outline plan to use a small 48v power supply the on hook and PG (Permanent glow - off hook and not setting up or in call)  

The tone will be supplied by a small recorder on loop play.

I'm not sure how I will add audio to DC or if each DC supply needs to be isolated from each other.
